Argument for God based upon Morality
Premise 1. If God does not exist, objective moral values and duties do not exist.
Premise 2. Objective moral values and duties do exist.
Conclusion. Therefore, God exists.
The argument is valid, but is it sound? Are the two premises true?
The moral argument does not claim that atheists cannot know good or evil or engage in moral behaviour, only that atheists cannot satisfactorily explain the basis for their morality.
