When does preaching become a problem?

When it is not centred on the Lord Jesus Christ. This can cause a lot of problems.

Churches tend to

  • become market driven
  • make the gospel obscure
  • major on minor issues

These are some of the concerns that have brought together many pastors from different dominations, different styles and different backgrounds to form the Gospel Coalition.

These pastors are all united by importance of the centrality of the good news about Jesus Christ.
