When it is not centred on the Lord Jesus Christ. This can cause a lot of problems.

Churches tend to

  • become market driven
  • make the gospel obscure
  • major on minor issues

These are some of the concerns that have brought together many pastors from different dominations, different styles and different backgrounds to form the Gospel Coalition.
