Why not learn the original languages of the Bible - Hebrew and Greek? A whole new world opens up - even with a basic understanding of the Biblical languages.
OLD TESTAMENT - Hebrew
Theopedia is a really great place to begin! Lots of links and good information
eTeacher Biblical (online) is accredited by The Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Hebrew For Christians has been well put together and offers basic, but valuable, tools in learning Hebrew.
NEW TESTAMENT - Greek
Theopedia is a really great place to start! You will find a wealth of very good links as well as the required basic information.
Precept Austin's "It's Greek To Me" has a very useful collection of Greek tools.
NT GREEK In Session by William Ramey (In the Beginning.org) is excellent! The free lessons are very well oganised. For example, hear the Greek (alphabet) pronunciation and the way letters are written HERE (individual letters) or HERE to hear only on 1 page (pdf).
Dr Ramey also has constructed online FLASH CARDS.
